About Sam Baaklini

I'm an Oakland, Bay Area local and enjoy taking my family to hidden hotspots within a three hour drive or so of our home. There are so many beautiful locations to experience in our beautiful state!

Part of who I am is fun-loving and spontaneous. If you give me an ear to listen, I might even be one of the funniest people you'll ever meet (at least my three year old daughter thinks so).

Our family likes to find hole in-the-wall restaurants with 4 out of 5 star reviews on Yelp, take random trips to Six Flags, watch movies, and take frequent Daddy Daughter Dates to the park.

Five years ago my wife (well, before she was my wife, that is) and  I did this crazy thing (as young folks sometimes do). We ran off into the sunset and eloped. Okay, well maybe it was more like we drove through the snowy, freezing mountains to get hitched at a little chapel in Reno. We decided that was the best decision for us. We were in love, and at the end of the day it would only be the two of us forever.
When I'm not marrying people, I have a full time career in insurance sales.  I also assist my wife with her photography business.  Sometimes, we even get to team up and work together on weddings--with my wife taking photographs and me performing the ceremony. That's when things get really fun!

I love my jobs because I enjoy working with people. Many of my clients (both from insurance sales and wedding ceremonies) have become my friends, which is a joy --and an added perk of both of my professions! Don't worry though, I never mix the two, so I won't try to sell you a policy before (or after) you say "I do."

I love all the roles I get to play in my life. Whether I'm wearing the hat of husband, father, photographer's assistant, insurance guy or wedding officiant, I always bring my best self to the table and enjoy each experience to the fullest.

I look forward to being a part of your memorable day.
