Memorializing Deceased Family Members

Whether your family member has recently passed away or it has been many years, the void is felt on this day more so than any other. How do you honor these family members while balancing the joy of your wedding celebration?

Resolved: DON'T be a Bridezilla
Whether you are well underway in your wedding planning, or taking a more laid-back (translated "procrastination") approach, you have many decisions to make in the upcoming months. Planning your wedding can be a challenging as well as exhilarating time and it's certainly exciting to think about being Queen (or King) for a day. However, that in no way gives you the right to be intolerable during the wedding planning process. (So says I).

Things to Consider When Choosing your Wedding Officiant
Choosing a ceremony officiant for your big day can be a daunting task.  If you are getting married in your church or synagogue, the decision is simple.--you take what they give you, usually. But maybe you don't belong to a church yet want a heartfelt ceremony that expresses your personal beliefs. If you are like many brides- and grooms-to-be, you are looking for creative alternatives to the traditional cookie-cutter ceremony.

Why Elope?
Let's preface this article by saying it is unashamedly biased in favor of eloping. That is not to say that we don't advocate (and love) larger gatherings. What we don't want is anyone being married at a gathering that stresses their nerves, their budget, or simply is not a reflection of who they are as a couple. If a big wedding isn't for you, then don't be pressured into having one.

Why so much money for 30 minutes of work?
